Homesteading burnout is a real thing. The decision to start homesteading isn’t one taken lightly by anybody, and it’s no surprise that it can be stressful. The question is, how do you deal with that stress, and what are steps you can take to help reduce it or avoid it in the future?
Some garden seasons aren’t meant to be. The weather gets in the way, a busy, unavoidable schedule, or unexpected life events. While we should look at why we failed, we should look for the silver lining and think about what did go right and what we can do better next time.
Why Homesteading? It’s so much work, why would anyone want to take that on in this day and age? That’s the question that I hear so often, be it from family or friends or across the internet.
