Less Than a Month
My friends, it’s less than a month to my due date! Please continue to pray for a safe pregnancy, delivery, and baby. The final stretch is finally here, and I am relieved to be rounding the corner to the finish line! This past weekend, we hosted Miss Lady’s 8th annual Tea Party, and now that that’s completed, I’m pretty much ready for baby at any time. The crib is set up, baby clothes sorted through, diapers ready, diaper bag for baby is packed. Just a few odds and ends to tie up at this point in time. I’m trying to mentally shift gears to house cleaning and also food preservation…

Springtime Flurry
It’s the springtime flurry! Activity everywhere and non-stop. I start my days early and fall asleep by 9 most days, completely and blissfully exhausted. It’s been a very busy May, but it feels so good to be active after this past winter and the slow start I had to spring! I’ve been able to walk regularly the last few weeks, and what a difference it makes! We had help from my mom, my sister-in-law, and a good friend, which really helped keep things…

It's that time of year! We're swimming in produce over here. Some days are a little overwhelming, but the end product is so satisfying and worth the effort!

Piggies
Since this is our first venture into pigs, I’m going to be keeping extra notes. Things to know or remember for future use. The piggies are doing well! It took awhile for us to really see it, but they are definitely bigger. They actually lost a little bit of weight in their first week here, because we had such a drop in temperature that we were not prepared for. Thankfully, they appeared healthy otherwise, and since they have not only gained weight, but definitely grown bigger. The weight loss, I suspect was solely from being cold. They didn’t eat a lot the first few days after we brought them home.…

The tractor for the homestead arrived this week, and it's amazing!
